Detailed Solution

Vande Mataram was written by Bankim Chandra Chattopadhyay.
Nationalism grows when individuals start to feel connected to one another and realise they are all a part of the same country. This sense of group identity was partially cultivated by participation in coordinated struggles. However, nationalism also captivated people's attention through a variety of cultural practices. Nationalism was shaped by history, fiction, folklore, songs, popular art, and symbols, among other things. As a tribute to the motherland, Bankim Chandra Chattopadhyay wrote "Vande Mataram" in the 1870s. Later, it was embodied in his book Anandamath and was a popular song in Bengal during the Swadeshi movement. Nationalist leaders became increasingly aware of the role that images and songs played in bringing people together and igniting their sense of nationalism as the national movement grew.
