20 mL of NaOH solution will be neutralized by 16 mL of HCl solution.

Given 10 mL of NaOH solution is neutralized by 8 mL of the HClsolution.

Since,

8 mL of HCl is needed for 10 mL of NaOH.

Let X be the volume of HCl needed to dissolve 20 milliliters of NaOH.
= (20 × 8)10
= 16 mL

So, 20 mL of NaOH solution will need 16 mL of HCl solution to neutralize.
