Find the required time, if the number of workers is reduced.
Given, 12 workers can complete the work in 10 days, number of workers is reduce to

\frac{1}{3} rd

the original number
As we know the number of workers is reduced then number of days will increase, so,

\frac{1}{3} rd \times number of workers

= \frac{1}{3} \times 12 = 4

So,
12 workers complete the work in 10 days, same as,
4 workers can complete the work in =

\frac{12 \times 10}{4} = 30

The number of extra days

(30 - 10) = 20

Hence, the correct answer is option 4) 20
