Detailed Solution

760 w will be the power of a pump that can lift 100 kg of water stored in a water tank at the height of 19 m in 25 s.
Given,
Mass  = 100 kg
Height = 19 m
Time = 25 s
So,     force = m × g
                      = 100 × 10
                      = 1000 N
Work done = Force × displacement
Here,the value of  displacement given is 19 m.
So,            W = 1000 N × 19 m
           W   = 19000 J
And we know that
      power P = WT
              P = 1900025
                 = 760 W               Thus, the power supplied by the pump is 760 W.
