30% (w/w) of 300 g of NaOH  =300×30100=90g

40% (w/w) of 500 g of NaOH=500×40100=200g

Total volume of solution= Mass of solution  Density of solution 

=8002=400mL

%(w/v) volume of NaOH =90+200400×100=72.5
