The bulb indicates the flow of current through a circuit by glowing.
An electric bulb is a device which produces light when it is connected to a closed circuit. An electric bulb contains a filament made of tungsten. The filament has a very high resistance and a high melting point. Therefore, when the electric current is passed through the filament, due to the heating effect, it gets heated to a very high temperature and emits light. Hence, the bulb’s glowing can indicate current passing through the circuit.
