Given
In 5 days, (4m + 6w)

= Rs . 1600

(As, 4m = 4 men and 6w = 6 woman)
Thus,
In 1 day, (4m + 6w)

= \frac{1600}{5} = Rs. 320 \dots (1)

Total people that will receive Rs.1 in a day,

= \frac{320}{4 m + 6 w} \dots . (2)

Now for second condition,
Amount of people expected to receive Rs.1 in a day,

= \frac{1740}{6 \times (3 m + 7 w)}

= \frac{290}{3 m + 7 w} \dots . (3)

From Equation (2) and (3), we have

\frac{320}{3 m + 7 w}

= \frac{290}{3 m + 7 w}

96 m + 224 w

= 116 m + 174 w

= 20 m = 50 w

\frac{Man}{Woman} = \frac{5}{2}

(Since Men = m and w = Woman)
Therefore,

1 w = \frac{2}{5} m

In one day, using Eq. (1)

(4 m + 6 w) = (4 m + 6 \times \frac{2}{5} m)

= \frac{32}{5} m

get Rs. 320
As a result, one man receives

= \frac{320 \times 5}{32} = Rs. 50

As a result, one woman gets

= \frac{50 \times 2}{5} = Rs. 20

Thus, In 1 day,

(7 m + 6 w)

get

7 \times 50 + 6 \times 20 = Rs . 470

Thus, the necessary number of days

= \frac{3760}{470} = 8 days

Hence, option 2 is correct answer.
