Detailed Solution

A sound wave travels at a speed of 330 m/s, if its wavelength is 1.5 cm, the frequency of the wave is 22000 Hz.
Given that, speed v = 339 m/s,
Wavelength, λ =1.5 cm                      =0.015 m
Therefore, frequency v=  Ʋ λ
                        v=fλ
                  f = vλ
                      =3300.015
                      =22000 Hz
Or,                 f  = 22 kHz  [ 1 kHz = 1000 Hz]
