Tyndall effect is the phenomenon of scattering of beams of light by small particles present in the atmosphere like smoke or dust in the atmosphere. A Colloidal solution is a mixture of insoluble suspended particles in another substance. Tyndall effect happens in colloidal solution also. The amount of scattering of light is dependent on the density of particles and frequency of light.
