Detailed Solution

The factors on which resistivity of materials depends
on the nature of the material and
       the temperature of the material.
The resistivity of a material depends on the nature of the material and its temperature.
Nature of the material:
"Resistivity is a property that describes the extent to which a material opposes the flow of electric current through it."
Any change in shape, size or length will not impact the material's resistivity.
Temperature: If a metal conductor's temperature rises, the conductor's ions vibrate more vigorously. This vigorous vibration increases the number of collisions between the free electrons and the ions. Hence, for a metal, resistance increases with increasing temperature.
