A beggar convinced the sages to share their food with him. The beggar was hungry, so when he saw that the sages had food, he asked them to share it with him. Even after the beggar told them that all people are equal, they rejected him. Because God is a global soul to all and part of this universal universe, if sages refuse to share their food, it means they refuse to share their food with God because if God can fill the whole globe, he can fill it for everyone. The sages then shared their lunch with the beggar after listening to him.
