A jet stream is the fast-flowing cold air current in a narrow zone in the upper atmosphere. Climate is not the contribution of a single factor, but several factors play a significant role in determining the climate of a region. The most important ones are - altitude, latitude, pressure and winds. Under upper air circulation, an important component is known as 'Jet streams '. These are the narrow high-altitude belts ( height above 12,000 m) with a speed of about 110 km/h.
