Detailed Solution

A concave mirror forms an enlarged image behind the device of an object which is placed between the device and its focus.
An object, when placed in between the pole of a concave mirror and its principal focus, the image formed is erect and virtual. The image formed is enlarged in size and is behind the mirror. A convex lens curves outward. The thickness at the centre of a convex lens is greater than the thickness at the lens's edges.
Converging lenses are convex lenses. They can focus a parallel beam of light into a single point. The lens in the human eye is an excellent example of a convex lens.
