Detailed Solution

(i)  We know that 1 m = 100 cm.

So, 5 m 60 cm = 560 cm.

3 m 20 cm = 320 cm.

10 m 50 cm = 1050 cm.

Here height of the pole and length of the shadow are in direct proportion.

Let the length of the shadow of another pole be x.

Height of the pole (in cm)5601050
Length of the pole (in cm)320x

So, 560320=1050x.

x=1050×320560=600.

Hence, the shadow of the another pole is 600 cm.
