Aromatic aldehydes are less reactive than aliphatic aldehyde since, the charge on benzene ring is delocalized over ring and less polarity separation in case of benzaldehyde to provide stability. but in case of aliphatic it becomes unstable due to electron donating effect of alkyl group attached to carbonyl group carbon atom.
