To find the percentage of populatation who read at least one paper of $A, B,C$, we have to find the vlaue of $P\left(A\cup B\cup C\right)$

The addition theorem on probability states that $\begin{array}{rcl}P\left(A\cup B\cup C\right)& =& P\left(A\right)+P\left(B\right)+P\left(C\right)\\ & & -P\left(A\cap B\right)-P\left(B\cap C\right)-P\left(A\cap C\right)+P\left(A\cap B\cap C\right)\end{array}$

Substitute the appropriate values in the above formula

we get 

$\begin{array}{rcl}P\left(A\cup B\cup C\right)& =& 0.2+0.16+0.14-0.08-0.05-0.04+0.02\\ & =& 0.52-0.17\\ & =& 0.35\end{array}$
