Concept- Change the paise to rupee now. because Indian rupees make up the whole. The total of all the coins is then added. Here, we attempt to maintain a single variable for all quantities. As we are aware, the ratio of the 50-paise, one-rupee, and two-rupee coins is 2: 3: 4. Therefore, let there be two times as many 50 percent coins in the bag.
In the end, there will be three rupee coins in the bag.
And there will be a total of four 2-rupee coins in the bag.
As is common knowledge, one rupee is equal to one penny.
Two 50-paise coins will therefore equal one rupee.
Therefore, two 50-paise coins will equal one rupee.
Additionally, 4x 2 Rupee coins will equal 8x Rupees.
As far as we are aware, the bag contains a total of Rs. 240.
So, (Rs x) + (Rs 3x) + (Rs 8x)= Rs. 240.
(x + 3x + 8x) = 240 rupees
So, 12x = 240
