Detailed Solution

A ball is gently dropped from a height of 20 m. If its velocity increases uniformly at the rate of 10 m/, then the velocity would be 20 m/s.
Given: = 0, S = 20 m, a = 10 m/.
Formula: -u² = 2aS
Here, v= final velocity, u= initial velocity, a= acceleration and S= distance
Putting all the values, we get,
 -0=2×10×20
          v = 20 m/s
