Using law of conservation of momentum,

m(v1+v2)=mv

v1+v2=v ...(i)

Also , v1−v2=ev .......(ii)

After solving,

v1 =1+e2v and  v2 =1e2v

Given that  Final K.E. =34 Initial K.E.

Substituting the value, we get
