Velocity of first ball after the collision is

v1=m1-m2m1+m2u1+2m2u2m1+m2 and v2=2m1u1m1+m2+(m2-m1)u2m1+m2

If m1 = m2 , then  v2=u1 and v1=u2

In this case whole of the K.E. is transferred to the second ball after the collision.
