Using s=ut+12at2 in vertical direction, we have

-50=(3.3)t+12(-10)t2

Solving this equation, we get

At the time of striking with ground,

vx=ux=5.6 m/s vy=uy+ayt =(3.3)+(-10)(3.51) =-31.8 m/s

Speed =(-31.8)2+(5.6)2
