The FBD of the block is as shown in figure.

           N=80 cos 37=64 NSo,     fL=0.2×64=32 N

As 4g<80 sin 37, friction force will act downwards. Net applied force in upward direction (excluding friction force) is

           80sin3740=4840=8N

As Fapplied  in vertical direction is less than fL, block will not move in vertical direction and value of static friction force is f = 8 N.
