Floating Condition
v1g=vdg
v1=vd
in oil
 Similarly, the volume of the submerged object  = the volume of the displaced oil =v2v2(1.25) g=vdg
v2=vd​1.25=v11.25​​
v1=1.25v2
In both cases, the  object will surface. Therefore, the apparent weight is zero in both cases.
