A body performs an accelerated motion with uniform speed. The motion of the body is circular.
Because in a uniform circular motion, although the speed of the body remains constant the path of the velocity of the body changes continuously and as a result the velocity of the body changes at every instant. Acceleration of the body is described as the rate of change in velocity of the body. Therefore, the body is stated to be accelerated though the speed is constant in a circular path.
