And 10 packets contain salt flavoured chips.
The probability of first packet selected by Maria will be salt flavoured and the number of salt flavoured packets divided by total number of packets =

\frac{10}{20} = \frac{1}{2}

Then if she takes out packets without replacement and taking one packet from box then total packet in box will be = 19
