Initial speed, u =80 km/h
Final speed, v = 60 km/h
Time = 5 sec = 5/3600 h
From the equation of motion
We know that, v = u+at........................equation (1)
Putting all the values in equation (1),
60 = 80+a×(53600)
or, a = -14400 km/h² (As body is retarding)
