For Bus:

u=0,a=5m/s2

sB=ut+12(5)t2

=0+12(5)t2

sB=2.5t2(1)

For Car:

v=50m/s

sC=v×t                                 

=50×t

sC=50t(2)

From (1) and (2)

sB=sC

2.5t2=50t                             

2.5t=50

t=502.5=50025=20sec

v=u+at
