A can do a job= 10 days
B can do a job = 20 days
Work done by A in one day

= {(\frac{1}{10})}^{th}

part
Work by B in one day

= {(\frac{1}{20})}^{th}

part
Suppose A and B work done together and finished the work in = x days.
So,

(\frac{1}{10}) x + (\frac{1}{20}) (x - 4) = 1

\frac{x}{10} + \frac{x}{20} - \frac{1}{5} = 1

\frac{3 x}{20} = \frac{6}{5}

x = 8 days

So, total days to finish the job is 8 days.
