Detailed Solution

Given,
Time taken by car to reach destination at a speed of 60 km per hour =5 hours  .  Let the time taken by car to reach our destination at a speed of 75 km per hour be x hours, then

Time taken (in hours)

5

x

Speed (in km/hr)

60

75

We can clearly observe that, more the speed of the car, less will be the time taken to reach the destination.
Therefore, this is the case of inverse proportion
As this is case of inverse proportion, therefore the product will remain constant throughout table that is,
5×60=x×75   Solving the equation,
75x=300 x= 300 75 x=4   Hence, time taken by car to reach destination at a speed of 75 km per hour =4 hours  .
Therefore, option 4 is correct.
