Detailed Solution

A car weighing 10 g is initially moving with a velocity of 50 m/s. On applying a constant force on the ball for 2 s, it acquires a velocity of 70 m/s. The magnitude of the force will be 0.1 N.
Given that,
Mass (m) = 10 g
Initial velocity (u) = 50 m/as its car started.
Final velocity (v) = 70 m/s
Time (t) = 2 sec
Acceleration, a=v-ut
=>a=70-502
=>a=10 m/s2
From the relation of second law of motion
Force = mass × acceleration
Force = 10/1000 × 10 = 0.1 N
