Detailed Solution

A charged particle moving in a magnetic field experiences a resultant force in the direction perpendicular to both the field and its velocity
A magnetic field exerts force on the moving charged particles. If the charge velocity is high then the force will be greater. If a charged particle is in a magnetic field, it experiences a magnetic force. A moving charged particle is actually an electric current. So, a moving charged particle experiences a force due to the perpendicular magnetic field B = B×Q×V
where, B= Magnitude of magnetic field (in Tesala)
= charge on moving particle (in coulomb)
= velocity of charged particle (in m/s)
            = force
