Length of chord, AB = 24 cm.
Distance of chord from the center of circle, OC = 5 cm.
Question ImageAs the perpendicular distance from the center bisects the chord.
So, AC = BC
And AC = 12AB
AC= 12×24cm

Now, by Pythagoras theorem in triangle ACO, we get,
OA2= AC2+ OC2
OA2= 122+ 52
OA2=144+ 25
OA2= 169
OA2= 132
OA= 13 cm.
So, the radius of circle is 13cm.
