Detailed Solution

 Question ImageRadius r = 10 cm, Angle subtended θ = 60°
Area of OACB = Question ImageQuestion ImageQuestion Image= 52.33 cm2
Now the area of ΔOAB
Question ImageQuestion Image= 43.30 cm2
area of minor segment = area of sector
OACB – area of ΔOAB
ABC = 52.33 + 3.30
= 9.03 cm2
Now area of major sector = area of the circle – area of minor segment
ADB = 314 – 9.03
= 304.97 cm2
Hence, area of minor = 9.03 cm2
area of major = 304.97 cm2
So, option (A) is correct.
