Let the radius of flower bed circle be r 1 and outer circle be r 2

r 1 = \frac{diameter}{2} = \frac{66}{2} = 33 m

r 2 = r 1 + 4 = 33 + 4 = 37 m

Area of path = Area of outer circle - Area of flower bed circle

= π (r {2)}^{2} - π {(r 1)}^{2}

= π [37^{2} - 33^{2}]

= 3.14 \times 280

= 879.2 m^{2}
