Given that the length of the classroom is 10 m, breadth is 6.4 m and the height is 5 m.
It is well known that the volume of a cuboid is l×b×h,   where l is the length, b is breadth, and h is the height of the cuboid.
As each student is given 1.6 m 2   of the floor area, therefore,
Numberofstudents =  area of the room area given to each student in the room = 10×6.4 1.6 =40  
We can calculate the air required by each student as,  Airrequiredbyeachstudent= Volumeoftheroom numberofstudents m 3 = 10×6.4×5 40 m 3 =8 m 3  
Therefore, air required for each student is 8 m 3 .   Hence, option (1) is correct.
