Detailed Solution

Concept- Time gain is given in 12 hours, so we will find time gain 24 hours. Calculating minutes gained by the clock in 24 hours as to find time showed on 6th day. In a day from 12 at night to 11:59 in a day, we will write it as a.m and then from 12 in day till 11:59 at night we will write it as p.m.
The time shown in the clock at 1st the day is 11 a.m.
Given, the clock gains 12 minutes in 12 hours. Therefore, in 24 hours, the clock will gain 24 minutes.
So, time gained in 5 days becomes,
24×5=120 minutes
1 hour = 60 minutes
2 hours = 120 minutes
So, after 6thday, we will deduct 2 hours from the time showed on the clock,
Time showed on 6thday = 1 p.m.
Time = 1 p.m – 2 hours
= 11 a.m
Hence, the correct answer is option 4.
