Detailed Solution

A collective farm in Russia was called Kolkhoz. Stalin introduced collective farming in Russia. Kolkhoz was collective farming where peasants were forced to cultivate from 1929. The shortage of grains in Russia was due to less production of grains. The method of production was outdated. The increase in population caused this problem at a high rate. Then Stalin introduced collectivisation or Kolkhoz in the farm’s programme. In this programme, the farmer who has small land to cultivate works on land jointly and shares the expenses. Modern land cultivation tools led to the high production of grains and edibles.
