A colour resulting from the mixing of two primary colours is called secondary colour.
Light of any of three colours when combined in their correct intensities forms a white light, then these lights are called primary colours of light. The lights of red colour, blue colour and green colour are called primary colours. A colour that results from the mixing of lights of two primary colours is known as the secondary colour.
