Given data in the problem,
Mass, = 0.9 kg
Time of rest, = 10 s
Distance, = 250 m
And the initial velocity, = 0
So, by using the below formula,
= ut +12at2 Where,
= distance = initial velocity = uniform acceleration = time 250=0 × 10 +12 × a × 102 =25050  a= 5 m s-2 and we know that
Force = mass × acceleration = m × a = 0.9 × 5 = 4.5 N The magnitude of the force is 4.5 N.
