The area of the corridor of a school is,
A=length×breadth ⇒A=8×6 ⇒A=48 m 2  
The area of available canvas sheet is,
A=length×breadth ⇒A=2×1 ⇒A=2 m 2  
Total cost = required sheet ×   Rate
⇒C= 48 2 ×8  
⇒C=24×8 ⇒C=192  
Therefore, total cost is ₹ 192.
