Test cross is done to know the genotype of an individual with dominant trait/s by crossing with recessive parent. Outcross is crossing a hybrid with dominant homozygous parent. Inbreeding is continuous selfing of a plant or hybrid in successive generations. Cross between parents with contrasting traits for a character is called monohybrid cross.
