A cuboid has a length of 6 cm, breadth 4 cm and height 2 cm. Another cube has an edge of 5 cm. Find out which one has greater volume ?

Given : Cuboid of dimension $6 cm\times 4 cm\times 2 cm$

             cube of edge 5 cm

To find : compare the volume of cuboid and cube

Solution : 

Volume of cuboid = $l\times b\times h=6\times 4\times 2=48 c{m}^3$

volume of cube = $a^3=5\times 5\times 5=125 c{m}^2$

On comparing both the values, we find that the volume of a cube with edge 5 cm has greater volume.

Hence, the correct option is option B.
