Detailed Solution

A democracy seems good in principle only and not in Principle.
It is commonly felt that democracy is good in principle, but not so good in practice. In principle, a democracy emphasizes equality among citizens, enriches the individual's dignity, increases the quality of decision-making, and provides a way to resolve conflicts. But we see that in practice, democracies are not generally up to the mark. For example, while it is logical to expect a government essentially free of corruption from democracy, as democracy ensures an accountable government. But its record is not good in this respect. Despite this, one cannot fully argue that democracy only seems good in principle and not in practice because there is no practical proof that non-democracies are less corrupt or more sensitive to the people.
