Detailed Solution

Acceleration of an object rolling down an inclined plane is given by

a=gsinθ1+I/mr2

where,  θ = angle of inclination of the inclined plane,

m = mass of the object
and I = moment of inertia about the axis through centre of mass.
Type of sphere is not mentioned in the question. Therefore, we will assume the given sphere as solid sphere.

For disc,    Imr2=1/2mr2mr2=12

For solid sphere,   Imr2=2/5mr2mr2=25

    adisc =gsinθ1+12=23gsinθ=0.66gsinθ

asolid sphere =gsinθ1+25=57gsinθ=0.71gsinθ

Clearly,  asolid sphere >adisc

Hence, sphere gets to the bottom of the plane first.
