Detailed Solution

A force acts for 10 s on a stationary body of mass, 100 kg after which it means it ceases it act. The body moves through a distance of 100 m in the next 5 seconds. The Magnitude of the force will be  200 N.
Given that,
Mass of the body (m) = 100 kg
Distance = 100 m
Time taken = 10 seconds
Initial velocity = 0 m/s
From the equation of
=>s=ut+12at2
=>100= 0× 5 + ½ ×a×100
On solving the equation, we have,
Acceleration, = 2 m/s2
Magnitude of the force F = mass × acceleration
Force F = 100 × 2
Force = 200 N
