Detailed Solution

The equipment used to measure the current in an electric circuit is called a galvanometer. By connecting a low resistance shunt in parallel with the galvanometer, an ammeter can be formed from a galvanometer.

G=150Ω

We know that the value of shunt is,

S =IgGI-Ig__________(1)

Now we have,
 Ig=111×I=I11
substituting the value in equation in (1)
S=I11×150I-I11=150I1111I-I11=150I10I=15Ω
So the resistance of the shunt is 15 Ω.
