It is given that the probability of the girl winning the first prize in a lottery is 0.08.

∴

P (of the girl winning the first prize)

= 0.08 = 8100

P (of winning first prize)

= Number of tickets bought total number of tickets

∴ Number of tickets bought = P(of winning first prize) × Total number of tickets = 8100 × 6000 = 480
