The inertia of motion of a body is the tendency of the body to remain in the state of motion unless an external force acts on it. Here the bus is already in motion, and as a result of this, the body in the bus also feels the same motion. So, the body in the bus is also said to be in motion even if they do not move physically. As and when the bus stops, the bus comes to rest but the children within the bus experience a forward bend which is due to the inertia of motion. The inertia of motion means that the body that was already moving tends to remain in the state of motion.
