Let the age of the girl = x

As Age of the brother is twice the age of the girl

So, the age of her brother = 2x

Given, the sum of the age of the girl and her brother = 15

So, x + 2x = 15

=> 3x = 15

=> x = 5.

Hence, the age of the girl = 5 yrs.

And Her brother's age = 2x = 2(5) = 10 yrs.
