Given- the go-down measures

40 m × 25 m × 10 m

. To find- the maximum number of wooden crates each measuring

1.5 m × 1.25 m × 0.5 m

that can be stored in the go-down.
Formula that we will be required to solve this question
Volume of cuboid

= l × b × h

where l is the length, b is the breadth and h is the height of the cuboid.
First, we will find the volume of go-down-

⇒ V = 40 m × 25 m × 15 m ⇒ V = 15, 000 m 3

Now, we will find the volume of crate.

⇒ Volume of crate = 1.5 m × 12.5 m × 0.5 m

⇒ V o l u m e o f c r a t e = 9.375 m 3

No . of crate = Volume of godown Volume of the crate
